Sounder

Reviewed by Cameron

Sounder is about a dog named Sounder and a poor family. The father brought home a dog, but I didn’t I tell you that he was a criminal. The father stole food for his family to eat. The boy hoped there was a flood so the town could be closer together. Then in chapter two the police found out about the stealing.

So then they arrested the boy’s father. I don’t think Sounder was happy about that. So Sounder raced after the wagon and the police aimed and fired!!! Sounder was lying in the road. He was still moving but barely. He was badly wounded. Blood was coming from a lot of his body. He was wiggling away from the boy. I guess he was going away to a dark place to die.
