The Lion and the Mouse by Jerry Pinkney was a 2010 Caldecott Winner. If you remember, the Caldecott Award is given for the illustrations in a book. You will not be disappointed with this one! This beautifully illustrated version of Aesop's Fable is a wordless picture book that will allow your imagination to run wild. I would highly recommend this as a great summer read!
