Criss Cross
She wished something would happen. She wished it while looking at a magazine. The magazine was her sister Chrisanne’s. She was sitting on the sweater Debbie had decided to borrow after coming into Chrisanne’s room to use her lip gloss. Chrissanne wasn’t there. She had gone somewhere.
Meanwhile, in another part of town, Hector’s sister, Rowanne, was upstairs in her bedroom changing her clothes or something. Hector could hear her humming, and the sound of drawers opening and closing. He was crossing the front hall on his way to the kitchen and, as he passed the mirror, he glanced in and gave himself a little smile.
This book is really great! Why don’t you try it?
The Bridge to Terabithia
Reviewed by Jordan
The Bridge to Terabitha was a good book. The eleventh chapter was a little violent but it was good. Chapter seven had some cussing in it. There were not that many pictures in the book. It had some romance for the girls too and some action for the guys too. So overall it was a good book. The book was about a boy named Jesse who has great drawing talent and likes to show them to Mrs. Edmunds. Then he meets this girl named Leslie who has a great imagination. With Jesse's drawing talent and Leslie’s imagination they made the land Terabithia. One day Leslie went to Terabithia alone. To find out what happened to Leslie check this and other books out at Jones Paideia library. Make sure you read the whole thing to find out what happened to Leslie.
